Filling gas tanks fitted to motor vehicles
The filling of gas tanks fitted to motor vehicles and the filling of pressure vessels for gas transport for another natural person or another legal entity must be carried out by an employee with authorisation for such activities pursuant to Section 15 of Act No. 124/2006.
When is authorisation necessary?
An employer – a natural person (self-employed person) or a legal entity – may operate an LPG, CNG, LNG or H2 filling station only with authorisation issued by an authorised legal entity such as EIC.
A self-employed person with no employees may operate a filling station without authorisation if they have the appropriate professional competence; professional competence is evidenced by a document under Section 16 of Act No. 124/2006.
What are the conditions for issuing authorisation?
- conclusion of an employment contract between the employer and an employee who has a document evidencing professional competence under Section 16 of Act No. 124/2006 covering the area for which authorisation is requested;
- adequate methods and scope for the execution of the activities from the technical, technological, personnel and organisational perspective.
How long is authorisation valid?
Authorisation is issued for an indefinite period.
